You are what you THINK

I am sure we have all felt stuck in our life at one stage or another. With the unprecedented arrival of the Covid-19 pandemic, our lives were instantly changed and we had to adjust our mindset to accommodate the changes. So, how does one change our mindset to program it for a new future and let go of the memories of the past?

The first step is becoming conscious of what we are thinking about all day long. Our brain is a record of the past-everything you have learned and experienced in your life up until this moment. Emotions are the end product of our experiences. So every morning you wake up thinking about the same problems and those problems cause emotions which are connected to certain people, places and events. This pattern reinforces our old self and if we are to move into a new adaptable future we need to look at our thoughts and emotions.

A person has on average around 60 000 thoughts a day! It has been scientifically proven that 90% of our thoughts are the same thoughts we had the day before. So, we get stuck in the same programming as your past and it cannot move forward until we start to rewire our brain. How we think and how we feel, creates our state of being. So going from our old self is a psychological and neurological transformation. To become unstuck in your environment you need to create a clear intention with an elevated emotion. Thoughts are the language of the brain and emotions are the language of the body.

In order to change our mindset we need not only to reprogram our thoughts in our conscious mind; but also to change our emotions which must align with our thoughts as they program our subconscious mind. When both of these are in alignment with our vision of the future, we become congruent and can successfully change our outcomes to what we desire.

How does one predict one’s future?

When you start stepping into the vision of your future, you are activating the creative centre of the brain. When the thought in your mind becomes the experience you start to feel the emotion before its made manifest then you create your future. You are now no longer viewing your future with the lens of the past, but you are now creating it with a vision of the future.
